   Arrive in Taipei

   Met at Taoyuan airport and transferred to your hotel. Evening walk through Shilin Night Market for street-food dinner.

2. 2

   Taipei landmarks

   Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, Longshan Temple, Dihua Street and sunset from Taipei 101 observation deck.

3. 3

   Jiufen & Shifen day trip

   Drive to Jiufen's lantern-lit alleys, tea houses and ocean views. Release a sky lantern at Shifen waterfall.

4. 4

   Taroko Gorge adventure

   High-speed rail to Hualien. Hike the Shakadang and Zhuilu trails through marble cliffs and turquoise rivers.

5. 5

   Sun Moon Lake

   Transfer to Sun Moon Lake. Cycle the lakeside path, visit Wenwu Temple and a tea farm tasting.

6. 6

   Return to Taipei & depart

   Morning boat ride, then rail back to Taipei for shopping or a hot spring before your flight.
